Celebration of Life for Lester Douglass, organized by his daughter Susan Acosta.

There was no better way to send him off…truly amazing!

Thank you, Lt Col Michael Healey & Capt. Johnny DeGennaro! On behalf of our entire family & group of friends it truly was our honor to bear witness to your most amazing act of talent & generosity! There was no better way to send him off…truly amazing!
Moreover, what a gift to not only have those skies open up at the perfect time, but that incredible flyby was followed by an incredible rainbow that formed along the runway just beyond the hanger doors!!! Probably Dad saying…Job well done!
Until I can thank everyone in person, please know our hearts are full with sincere gratitude!

As Susan posted, her dad was with us…. the weather opened up just long enough for us to fly, we finished with a missing man fly by to the west… which was followed by a huge rainbow in the east… pouring rain immediately after we got the Pitt’s back in the hangar… for the rest of the day… quite remarkable.
